The Gibson name has been synonymous with property in Melbourne since 1882 when Alfred E. Gibson opened a real estate agency business in the northern suburbs.

John followed in the family footsteps and opened his own company in 1972 – Gibson Property Corporation.

In 2008, John was joined by his son, Charles to continue the family legacy.
